Silver Dollar City has a 3pm special. Buy your ticket(s) for the next day, and get in free until closing. You can look around, orient yourself and get in a few rides and shows.
Even if the park shows closing as early as 6pm, there will be a show starting in the main amphitheater at that time and you can stay until it ends. If you like it, you can see it again the next night.
VISITING BRANSON IN JULY
me and my family used to live in branson missouri.. ever since we left everytime we came down to visit my grandparents silver dollar city was always the first place everyone wanted to go.. its a perfect match for every age group.. and it satisfys everyone.. but theyve gotten so expensive on tickets me and my family cant even afford to go there anymore.. ive been looking around and cant seem to find any kind of coupon for what we need.
If you sign up to get the Silver Dollar City Newsletter (it comes in the maily and looks like a newspaper) They offer discounts very early in season. I think its around January that you can buy one ticket and get one free (or something similar to that) to be used during that summer with some blackout dates. It does mean that you have to plan ahead but if you are one that goes every year it could be something to look into.
The 3pm special is a good deal. You buy your ticket and enter the park after 3pm and can get in the next day on the same ticket. Go in the afternoon when it gets cooler and lines are usually shorter. They also have days when the rides stay open late until 10:00 pm. Go and ride your rides after 3pm. Come back the next day and see the shops and shows. Don’t forget to use the package pickup service. Buy something in one of the stores and have it sent to the front for pickup when you leave.
If you are a law enforcement officer (active or retired) you can get in free with your ID, plus half price admission for your spouse and children. This special is set to run all next week and then occasionally throughout the season. Great deal for LEOs!

Just called Silver Dollar City @ 800-831-4386, was told the Price Cutter Stores are selling daily passes for $30/each.
It’s hard to believe that the military family “discount” is only 5.00!!! That’s the same as the Coke discount. I feel the families of those serving our country should be entitled to more of an actual discount. That’s shameful.
