The 2012 Plumb Nellie Arts & Crafts Festival is held in Historic Downtown Branson Thursday through Saturday, May 17-19. This arts and crafts festival features well over 100 craftsmen and artists from around the area offering wood crafts, quilts, clothing, crocheted or knitted items, hats, purses, ladies’ accessories, toys, floral arrangements, ironwork, collectibles and more! Also available will be food vendors, a children’s area, live entertainment and a street dance on Friday Night.
The Plumb Nellie Days is now in its 52nd year as it started in 1960 being named by allowing “plumb nearly anything” into the festival. Being held in the ’60s, you can only image what showed up at the festival when “plumb nearly anything” was allowed! It continues the tradition of welcoming just about anyone and everything, which means this popular arts and crafts festival has something for just about everyone…especially the entertainment!
Did we mention live entertainment? Yes we did! There will be so many performers singing throughout each day. Some of the entertainment includes American Idol finalist Chris Jones, America’s Got Talent Joseph Hall’s Rock N Remember Elvis Presley Tribute, America’s Got Talent Finalists The Voices of Glory, a Capella artists from “Sing Off” The Cats Pajamas, season 8 American Idol Finalist Jason Yeager, Barbara Fairchild and Roy Morris, America’s Got Talent Finalists The Voices of Glory, American Idol Finalists Lee DeWyze, Blake Lewis, Elliott Yamin, Kimberly Caldwell and Thia Megia from “The Finalists Live” show. Even more entertainment will be performing live at the Plumb Nellie Days, so definitely check it out!
